Experts in 3D Rendering

We work with architects, interior designers, property developers, and manufacturers to bring their propositions to life with our attention-grabbing photorealistic images.

Fire clients' imaginations with eye-catching 3D renders

3D rendering can bring just about anything to life – so convincingly in fact that an object can already feel like it’s part of the real world.

People struggle to tell the difference between a real photograph and a typical photorealistic image created by View3D.

The photorealistic renders created by the digital artists here at View3D have helped:

  • Developers to win over unpersuaded planning committees.
  • Architects to sell designs to clients.
  • Estate agents to find buyers for off-plan property.
  • Interior architects to convince homeowners and commercial property owners to invest in their vision.
  • Manufacturers to sell as-yet-unmade products to retailers and distribution networks.

3D rendering has become increasingly popular in recent years as companies look to secure an advantage in very competitive marketplaces.

The computer software used here at View3D to create these renders are state of the art.

But more important than that to our clients are the technical skills and the design vision our experienced team will bring to your project.

How do we start working together?

Working with View3D is easy. First, please send us sketches or drawings of the building, interior, or other object you want use to create renders for. If you want a 3D floor plan, interior plan, or exterior plan for us, please send us any site- and floor-plans you already have together with the elevation sections.

We can work with drawings or sketches in raster formats (.tga, .tiff, .bmp, and .jpg), .dxf, .dwg, or .pdf.

For 3D floor plan or 3D interior design projects, please provide us with specifications on plumbing, lighting, and furniture together with information on the materials you intend to use.

If you have 3D models or CAD files, we can work with these.

We’ll then review what you’ve sent us and ask you for more information if we need it. If we can see a better, faster, or cheaper way to get the exact outcome you want, we’ll share our thoughts with you.

Get in touch with us and let us quote you on your next 3D rendering project.

The 3D rendering process from start to finish with View3D

3D modelling

To create photorealistic images, you need a 3D model.

So we first need to turn the property, development, or product you want renders for into an exact digital model.

We can then zoom into, out of, and around the digital model with the 3D rendering software we use so that you can check that we have everything correct.

Light

We then use special software to simulate professional or natural light sources to add extra realism to your digital model.

And to enhance the 3D effect, we employ lighting effects like motion blur or light refraction.

Texture

Using render engines, we then edit the 3D model to achieve a greater sense of realism.

This software does this by adding variations in colour and light to create the appearance of specific textures.

Texturing is key for true photorealism – without it, the surfaces and edges of a 3D model appear smooth and artificial.

Real time rendering

Next, we convert the 3D object or area into the various 2D still images you need using various rendering methods and techniques.

In consultation with you, we create the image or series of images you need prior to the final stage of refining.

Refining

We then fine tune the appearance of each rendered image.

They further vary the lighting and the texture to polish the image to enhance its photorealism.

They can also add further visual effects to generate more illustrative and complex scenes – for example, placing a proposed building development in situ and compositing it into a scene like a streetscape.

3D Rendering FAQ

We use a range of powerful, highly flexible software suites including Blackmagic Fusion, V-Ray, and Autodesk 3ds Max (formerly 3D Studio Max).

The Autodesk 3ds Max package is so powerful that it’s used by directors in feature films and video gaming to create special effects and virtual reality landscapes and objects.

We aim to provide all our clients with the highest quality renders possible at a competitive price for their project.

We understand the commercial importance of the design projects we work for clients on and we commit ourselves when you start working with us to meeting and exceeding your expectations on price, quality, and turnaround time.

When your project is underway, you’ll have a named contact you can ask questions to and check progress with whenever you want.

The exact amount of time needed to complete each 3D rendering project differs according to the scope and complexity of the work.

With all clients, our starting point is that time is of the essence. We aim to get your work turned around as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality or accuracy.

The cost of 3D rendering projects depends how complicated the work involved will be.

However, please do note that we price our services intentionally to make ourselves as competitive as possible.

We allow up to 10 revisions per job.

Please bear in mind that you need to notify us within 30 days of receiving a draft from us that you want us to make changes to it.

We keep all work files related to your job on file post completion meaning that we’ll be able to make further revisions if necessary. Please note that this will be charged as a separate job.

Our standard renders are sized at 8.5″ x 11″ for printing and for use on the internet.

Because of the extra rendering time required to process larger images, there is a premium on very large prints.

If you’ve seen something you like on a site like 3DSky or Turbosquid and want to use them, we can work with them in most cases.

Yes. We work with clients in the UK and in other countries.
